Welcome to Poplar Farm Riding School, located in the village of Hundon, Suffolk, near Haverhill. Owned and operated by Kay Burtenshaw, a highly experienced horsewoman with decades of expertise, Poplar Farm is dedicated to providing top quality riding instruction in a safe and supportive environment. All of the horses and ponies at the school are personally owned by Kay, ensuring they are well-trained and cared for to the highest standards.

My daughter has been to three lessons with Kay and has completed restored her passion to ride, this girl was terrified to canter for example , after her first lesson she was in canter and so proud of herself , whilst it’s nice to see as a parent that your paying for your child to learn , there’s nothing that beats their confidence being excelled by one lady who really knows what she’s doing.
Lovely place to ride with beautiful ponies. Kay is very knowledgeable and a very good teacher. My daughter has made great progress! Wouldn't go anywhere else!
